Yesterday I finished reading the Wheel of Time series.
Light, it was one hell of a ride. I loved it so much.

Great journey, but also incredible characters! It reinforced my notion that long form storytelling is just so great because it lets you get to know the people the story is about. No 2-hour movie can do that really, and even serveral-hundred-page novels have trouble with good character development. In order to really appreciate the subtle ways in which a character can grow, you have to spend time with them beforehand.
So that's why I love long-ass TV shows and book series' (serieses?).

So true. It makes a book/show funnier, more relatable and you get way more invested imho.

Phishing is illegal because overphishing has caused serious problems in the ecosystem.

On Sunday my mother-in-law invited the whole family over to feed us cheesecake, because apparently Sunday was National Cheesecake Day.

Today a former coworker became a current coworker again. I'm okay with that, because he's a pretty cool guy.

Also also, Humble Bundle currently has a bundle that includes Game Maker: Studio Professional and the modules for HTML5, iOS, Android, and Windows UWP (Windows Mobile, basically). There's also a bundle with eBooks for Unity and Unreal Engine. I can only rationalize one, so I think I'll go with the one that actually has the game creation environment (plus some games) instead of the one that has a bunch of books about environments (though those environments are free). Decisions, decisions... ACTUALLY... I can rationalize one full bundle and a lower tier of the other, so maybe I'll get some eBooks, too.

Quick question, am i wrong to assume some of you people have alt accounts? (i'd think ignoring the idea would make naive, but still answer this)

I don't remember ever creating an alt account for this forum.
