No, but you could cash in your chips, and then use that cash to purchase a Pokemon game. That's as close as you can get.

I guess you could also use your cash to buy a Pokemon plush. Then it would be kind of like having a real one.

It's not so much of an investment as it is a waste of time and money, but it is enjoyable.

I guess if you get lucky, some of the trading cards can be worth something to collectors. Then you could call it an investment.

A fallout shelter is a very worthwhile investment if it's ever needed.

Apparently they had another failed launch recently.

I had a thought. A worthwhile investment isn't really "worthwhile" unless something is gained, but after something is gained then it is no longer an investment.

If something is gained and you retain your investment, you can still have an investment after something is gained.

For example, if you invest in a bomb shelter, and it remains in good working order after you survive a bombing, you still have an investment.

I think by definition (which of course changes with our use), investment is purely monetary. So I guess an example would be investing in a building in which you sold stuff. However, I meant that an investment only exists as you make it, referring to the act of buying something. So is it an investment after it returns?

You could reinvest the returns.
