Today I finished Dishonored 2.
It was really good :) a little too scripted at times, but still very enjoyable.

Today is another day at work...

I told some old forum friends of mine about this place yesterday. I don't know if/when any of them will show up, though.

I just realized this is unintentionally in order of my enthusiasm about said games.

I loved it, played through it twice and kinda want to do the new game+ and get the last trophies, but Final Fantasy XV is keeping me busy.

"Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?"

I've played nonlethal almost-nondetected as Emily on the hardest difficulty, not using any of the magic items or any powers other than far reach.
I'm thinking of trying the no powers mode, but it's scary... and I'm also thinking of doing a murder spree run, for the heck of it. Not sure yet.

The lethal-nonlethal choice is a bit weird roleplay-wise, in my opinion. I mean I love that there is a choice, but once I tell myself I'm playing as this character or that, it doesn't make much sense to go against what I think that character would do.
Basically it always makes more sense to me to play non-lethal as Emily or Corvo.. and in D1's DLC where you could play as Daud it only made sense to play lethal (I mean he's already a renowned assassin, why would he care about a few more lives?)

How do you like to play?

I played it first on lethal, kill everything mode with Corvo, where I basically didn't think much about who to kill and such. Then I took I did a non-lethal, non-spotted run with Emily, trying for a few of the achievements. Been meaning to do a New Game+ with either one and do the last few achievements.

I agree about the roleplaying though. It makes more sense that they are non-lethal, even though I can sorta see the lethal path. Funny that I chose to play them exact opposite in the first one, murder-spree with Corvo and sneaky non-lethal with Daud.

Heh. cool.
Now I've started a no powers nonlethal ghostly playthrough :o
It's really cool, makes me rethink most places, discover new things.
I don't care much for the steam acievements, I just like to challenge myself.

Nice, going to do the non-powers run-through some time. It's so great that you have the options and that they are equally viable. I play it on the PS4, how is it on the computer? I imagine it's easier to aim of course, but I feel like it doesn't really matter that much.

I don't have a reference point, never played a console...
control is fine, but there is an annoying glitch that happens sometimes when you lean to the side.. not sure why is that.

it's a tasteless inside joke. At least once a year someone at my school makes up a fake family tree based on the students and apparently my son got violated

Today is the day.

The day after yesterday.

The day before tomorrow.

The day. That is. Today.

Also, the weather is cold and my kids are sick. No sleep for me last night!
